About the Covert’s
Jr and Sharon Covert started their first firecracker stand in 1988 and called it: Croco Crackers. Jr. and Sharon took a few years off from running a stand when their children were babies. After their children grew older, they resumed running the stand and have had a stand ever since.
Having a fireworks stand has become a long running family tradition with their kids always helping and now their granddaughters.
The HI Performance name came about through the love of race cars. We always hold a HI Performance Night showcasing race cars, street cars and 1/2 priced racing themed fireworks.
We are also known for our free popcorn along with the friends and family atmosphere. At the end of every fireworks season, Jr says the best part is meeting new people and seeing old friends.

Every year we host HI Performance Night
This year we will be giving out free hotdogs, chips/cheese and free face panting. We will have a dj on hand along with all sizes and types of race cars.
New this year we are adding an RC car time trials contest. HI Performance will provide the RC car and anyone can compete in the time trials. Gift certificates will be given to the top 3 participants in each category.

HI Performance Fireworks will be able to meet your needs for your 4th of July celebrations. We stock a large variety of novelties, fountains, smokes, parachutes, multi-effect, 500 grams and family packs. We purchase from several vendors and carry multiple brands.
